Located in National Harbor, Maryland, just 12 miles south of Washington, DC, the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center has a stunning 19-story glass atrium and sweeping views of the Potomac River. After the day’s events, attendees are encouraged to explore National Harbor’s premier entertainment and shopping district. A short drive or water taxi trip across the river, Old Town Alexandria offers additional dining and shopping opportunities. For those who prefer to stay in, on-site amenities include a rejuvenating spa, indoor pool and whirlpool, state-of-the-art fitness center and a variety of unique restaurants and shops.

Airport:  The Gaylord is located approximately 8 miles from Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, 35 miles from Washington Dulles International Airport, and 42 miles from Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).

Shuttle Service:  The hotel does not provide shuttle service to the airports. SuperShuttle has a dedicated van with service between the hotel and Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport ($18.00/ one-way trip). The shuttle is available daily from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm and departs every 20 minutes. Reservations are required.

A shuttle service is also available between the hotel and several DC locations: Union Station, the Reagan Building, and the DC Welcome Center. The cost for a one-way trip is $12.00.

Parking: There is ample on-site parking at an hourly rate of $8.00 or $28.00/day. Valet parking is also available ($41.00/day).

Weather in the Washington, DC area during March can range from cold and snowy to warm and sunny. Average daily temperatures are in the upper 40s to low 50s with temperatures dropping at night into the 30s. Winter weather is still a possibility (as well as varying temperatures in the convention space) so please pack accordingly.

The dress code for PI-Con is business casual.  But you might need your running shoes.  And your biker gear.   Oh, and yoga pants.  And if you want, your party clothes.  Just be ready for anything.
